The Clone Wars #1, carrying the title "Slaves of the Republic Chapter 1: The Mystery of Kiros," marks the debut issue of the six-part Star Wars: The Clone Wars limited series, which subsequently grew into a regular monthly publication.
Taking place during the period bridging Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, this fresh series will center its narrative on the renowned Clone Wars! Familiar Jedi heroes such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Master Yoda, Master Mace Windu, and more, will be accompanied by some new characters as they strive to uphold the authentic values of the Republic.
Alongside the main narrative, each edition will present a secondary story crafted by one of the artists involved in the animated TV show!
This fresh series is intended to harmonize with Lucasfilm's eagerly awaited CGI-animated The Clone Wars film and television shows!
