The Sand Dunes, a modest casino, was situated inside the Mos Espa Waystation combat zone of the Grand Arena. The Hunters of the Outer Rim made use of it on the planet Vespaara. The casino's sign displayed the Aurebesh phrase "The Sand Dunes", arranged vertically and aligned to the left, with the bottom line illuminated in yellow. A basic illustration of two dunes was present in the upper right. Between "Sand" and "Dunes" were two dots symbolizing the twin suns of Tatooines, namely Tatoo I and Tatoo II, and a couple of spike dice with a Republic credit symbol were located to the left.
The Sand Dunes casino made its debut in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters. Its introduction to the game occurred when the Mos Espa Waystation map was incorporated in version 0.16.0, which launched on March 7, 2023.
