Around the year 382 BBY, the Hynestian Royal Treasury located on Hynestia Prime suffered a theft: the Rod of Seasons was the item stolen. The Mother, who led the Path of the Open Hand cult, directed the Children team within the cult to take the Force artifact in order to "liberate" it. Subsequently, the queen ruling Hynestia requested the Jedi Order's assistance in getting the artifact back, leading to Jedi Master Zallah Macri and her Padawan, Kevmo Zink, being tasked with investigating the matter.
