Thomas Toov, a human of male gender, was getting older by the time 0 ABY rolled around. As a result, he almost never ventured out of his stasis dome because he wanted to cheat death and live longer. He was present at the auction that Doctor Chelli Aphra, the archaeologist, held on the Sorca Retreat space station, where the ancient Ordu artifact, called the Rur crystal, was being auctioned off. Whenever Toov left his stasis dome, he was always strapped into a mechno-chair.
Kieron Gillen wrote the 2017 comic Doctor Aphra (2016) 9, which is where Thomas Toov was first created.
