Titus Sypknee

Titus Sypknee was a male assassin of the Human species. He resided on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

At the time the Battle of Yavin took place, Titus Sypknee functioned as the bodyguard for Lady Valarian, a Whiphid who was a crime lord.

In the year 1 ABY, Bera Jeza, a lab assistant from the Mos Eisley Biolab, was murdered on a street in Mos Eisley. Due to her connections to the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, his majordomo Bib Fortuna employed a spacer to look into the assassination. Working alongside the Slicer Cale Herron, the spacer was unsuccessful in locating the assassin. As Fortuna pressured the spacer to resolve the case, Herron suggested placing the blame for the murder on Lady Valarian, Jabba's rival on Tatooine. Consequently, the spacer visited Lady Valarian at the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley, and accused the crime lord on behalf of Jabba. Lady Valarian was, understandably, unwilling to be held accountable for a murder she did not commission. Valarian then instructed Titus Sypknee to eliminate the spacer. The assassin launched an attack on the spacer, but the spacer prevailed and killed Sypknee. Ultimately, the spacer compelled Lady Valarian to provide compensation to Jabba the Hutt.

Behind the scenes

Sypknee's natural eye appearance.

Titus Sypknee made an appearance as a deceased non-player character (NPC) within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its shutdown on December 15, 2011. Titus Sypknee was integrated into the game with "Game Update 13," which was launched on September 30, 2009. This particular NPC was a component of the questline titled "Something is Obviously Wrong," which served as an introduction to the "Death Troopers" update.

Within the game, Titus Sypknee was a hostile elite NPC that could only be overcome by a group of players working together. However, it was not necessary to kill Sypknee in order to finish the questline. In fact, should the player be killed, they would respawn at the nearest cloning center and then receive a communication from Jabba, stating that Boba Fett would handle Titus Sypknee.
