Doctor Toval Seyah was a scientist of the Human male variety, who also worked as a part-time spy for the Galactic Alliance after the conclusion of the Swarm War.
Seyah possessed a keen and practiced fascination with the Corellian superweapon and notable landmark, Centerpoint Station. He served the Alliance—along with his own personal objectives—at the start of the Second Galactic Civil War.
In 40 ABY, Luke Skywalker, a Jedi Master, and Alliance Intelligence persuaded Seyah to aid Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker in their undertaking to either destroy or disable Centerpoint Station. Leveraging his deep understanding of the station's structure and functions, Seyah subjected the Jedi duo to various simulated situations. He also furnished them with a datachip believed to have the capability to trigger the ancient station's self-destruction.
Amidst the Alliance's Operation Roundabout, Seyah harbored a silent wish that the Jedi would not be compelled to annihilate the station, owing to its enigmatic origins, thriving population, and scientific significance.
Later, he spearheaded a Jedi squad, including Kyp Durron, in an effort to destroy Centerpoint, which proved successful.
