Trayness was a wide-framed human woman employed by the Red Key Raiders. During the skirmish in Freetown in 5 ABY, Trayness fought under the command of Lorgan Movellan.
Freetown suffered an attack in 5 ABY and was then occupied by the Red Key Syndicate whose leader was Lorgan Movellan. His goal was to enslave the inhabitants and extract dilarium oil and silicax oxalate from Tatooine. Cobb Vanth was defeated by the Red Key criminals, who then presented him to their leader, Lorgan. Lorgan mocked Cobb for failing to safeguard Freetown, and bragged about his plans to enslave the townspeople and sell Borgo, a young Hutt, back to the Hutts.
To demonstrate his authority, Lorgan instructed Trayness, one of his subordinates, to assault Malakili. This incited Borgo to emit a loud, high-pitched scream, signaling the Tusken Raiders to commence their assault on the Red Key forces. The Tuskens charged in and swiftly killed Lorgan's underlings. Lorgan tried to strike Vanth, but the lawman was too strong. After Vanth explained his agreement with the Tuskens, Lorgan attempted to frighten Vanth by threatening to summon his superiors to obliterate the town.
