Twitch, a Rodian of the male gender, held the distinction of being the sole alien gladiator within the confines of the Taris dueling ring when Taris met its end. Despite perceptions of his mental instability, he ascended to the position of dueling champion on Taris, having triumphed over the previous titleholder, Marl. His erratic nature contributed to many exciting battles, and his popularity grew, though it never reached the heights of Bendak Starkiller's fame.
A male Rodian duelist, Twitch engaged in combat on the city world of Taris, specifically within the Taris dueling ring situated in the Upper City and under the ownership of Ajuur, a Hutt. By the year 3956 BBY, prior to the Sith fleet commanded by Darth Malak, a Sith Lord, destroying the Endar Spire, Twitch had already secured his status as the dueling champion of Taris. He achieved this by defeating Marl, a seasoned Human duelist who previously held the title.
In 3956 BBY, Revan, suffering from amnesia, adopted the moniker "The Mysterious Stranger" while competing in the dueling ring. His aim was to accumulate credits as he searched for the Jedi Bastila Shan on Taris. After emerging victorious against lesser opponents such as Deadeye Duncan, Gerlon Two-Fingers, Ice, and the former champion Marl, Revan ultimately defeated Twitch, thereby claiming the title of dueling champion for himself.

Twitch exhibited a dynamic and unpredictable demeanor, but struggled with coherent conversation. His bizarre speech and unusual actions led many to believe he was mentally unstable. Nonetheless, this perceived madness, or perhaps because of it, captivated many spectators, who were thrilled by his erratic style and incredibly quick blaster reflexes. Twitch, a new and younger champion, replacing the aging Marl, was respected for his skillful performance, regardless of his sanity. However, he was not as accomplished as Bendak Starkiller, the legendary former champion known only for death matches, and Gerlon Two-Fingers believed that even Twitch wasn't crazy enough to challenge Bendak.
Twitch's preferred weapons within the Taris dueling ring were a pair of heavy blaster pistols. Like other duelists, he carried a vibroblade as a secondary weapon, intended for use against opponents who managed to close the distance and engage in melee combat.
Twitch's initial appearance was in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a video game developed by BioWare. Within the Taris dueling ring of the video game, he serves as the fifth opponent the player faces. Only Bendak Starkiller remains for the player to challenge in an illegal death match, an encounter that rewards the player with dark side points.
