By the year 3956 BBY, prior to the Sith fleet commanded by Darth Malak, a Sith Lord, destroying the Endar Spire, Twitch had already secured his status as the dueling champion of Taris. He achieved this by defeating Marl, a seasoned Human duelist who previously held the title.
In 3956 BBY, Revan, suffering from amnesia, adopted the moniker "The Mysterious Stranger" while competing in the dueling ring. His aim was to accumulate credits as he searched for the Jedi Bastila Shan on Taris. After emerging victorious against lesser opponents such as Deadeye Duncan, Gerlon Two-Fingers, Ice, and the former champion Marl, Revan ultimately defeated Twitch, thereby claiming the title of dueling champion for himself.
