The Typhojem Excavation represents an archaeological undertaking. This dig transpired on the Grand Causeway of the planet Pashvi, all during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Senior terrain trekker Reginald Danfillo, an individual affiliated with the League of XenoExplorers, unearthed fragments of Quesoth pottery and a tapestry fragment that has been dated back to the Neo-Middle Secundus period, during the course of this dig.
Furthermore, at this very location, Danfillo located the book that would later be recognized as the Smuggler's Guide. This book was situated near the deceased body of its former possessor, Tryphon Leo, who had been killed by a rockfall roughly seventy meters down the causeway while seeking the Shrove of the Left-Handed God Typhojem. He was crushed by the rock. Subsequently, Danfillo documented the discoveries from the excavation in his own book, pointing out a servant of the god Typhojem within a depiction of the excavation featured in the book.
The Typhojem Excavation was initially introduced to the public in Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, a reference book released in 2018 and authored by Daniel Wallace.
