Tythonian pendant

An artifact known as a Tythonian pendant derived its name from the Deep Core world of Tython. In the year 232 BBY, Jedi Master Sskeer placed such a pendant atop one of the rock formations called needles located on the Republic Frontier planet Shuraden. He then challenged his Padawan Keeve Trennis to retrieve it as part of her Jedi Trials. After giant insects known as Ridadi damaged some of the needles, Trennis began to wonder mentally if the pendant remained in its original location. Instead of getting the pendant like she thought she should, the Padawan ended up saving a nearby city of the Ximpi that was being threatened by the Ridadi.

Because she thought she had failed her trials, Trennis went with Sskeer to the space station called Starlight Beacon. After being presented to Jedi Master Avar Kriss, the Padawan requested another chance at her trial, but instead, Kriss knighted her. Trennis later realized that her Master had brought her to Shuraden as a test, as he knew what the outcome would be.
