During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Ubrikkian enclave functioned as a highly productive facility. This facility was situated on Ubrikkia, a celestial object within the Mid Rim Territories. It was one of several Galactic Empire locations such as shipyards, drydocks, and mining operations. These locations were identified by Rebel Alliance General Crix Madine on a galactic map as potential targets for future Rebel attacks. This map was included in a document dispatched to Alliance Commander-in-Chief Mon Mothma.
The enclave located on the planet Ubrikkia within the Mid Rim Territories served as a Galactic Empire industrial complex during the Galactic Civil War. Its designation mirrors the names of various corporate entities such as Ubrikkian, Ubrikkian Industries, Ubrikkian Ord Pedrovia, and Ubrikkian Transports.

In the year 3 ABY, the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry undertook Operation Ringbreaker, a strategic campaign involving assaults on several minor Imperial resource centers. The purpose was to weaken the defenses protecting the major shipbuilding center at Kuat Drive Yards, paving the way for a final assault. While Alliance Intelligence remotely oversaw the campaign, General Crix Madine observed the initial successes of Operation Ringbreaker. He then created a galactic map pinpointing other significant Imperial shipyards, drydocks, and metal and ore mining facilities that the Alliance might target if the operation proved successful.
The Ubrikkian enclave was included on this map, noted for its high production capacity and undetermined security level. The map was then included as part of a formal document detailing Madine's strategic proposals, which was subsequently forwarded to Mon Mothma, the Alliance's Commander-in-Chief. Eventually, the 61st abandoned Operation Ringbreaker without engaging Kuat Drive Yards. Afterwards, Hendri Underholt, an archivist, incorporated the map into a collection of non-electronic documents titled The Rebel Files.
The Ubrikkian enclave was first mentioned in the 2017 reference work, Star Wars: The Rebel Files, written by Daniel Wallace.
