The Talortai male who fathered Udi Dis hailed from the planet Talor. Dis was ultimately banished from Talortai civilization for wielding his natural Force powers in opposition to the species' traditions, leading him to join the ranks of the Nihil. While serving Marchion Ro, the Eye of the Nihil, Dis was subjected to the might of the Great Leveler on Rystan, resulting in a vision where his father voiced his displeasure.
