In the year 19 BBY, amidst the widespread conflict of the Clone Wars, Jedi Commander Jay and forces aligned with the Republic Military were participants in a skirmish against the opposing Separatist Droid Army. While evading incoming blasterfire, Jay inadvertently found refuge inside a vehicle owned by Hutt guitarist Geezer Odajion. Subsequently, during the Imperial Era, Jay became a member of Odajion's band, known as Star Waver.
The Republic's military contingent was composed of Jay, a Padawan and Jedi Commander, alongside clone troopers equipped with phase II clone trooper armor. The Confederacy of Independent Systems' forces included at least one B1-series battle droid and at least one B2-series super battle droid.
During the heat of battle, Order 66 was executed, resulting in the clone troopers betraying their Jedi allies, thus initiating the Great Jedi Purge. Jay managed to escape this treachery and later joined Star Waver, the musical group led by the Hutt, Odajion.
This battle was presented as a flashback sequence within "Tatooine Rhapsody," a short film featured in the Star Wars: Visions anthology series. This short was directed by Taku Kimura from Studio Colorido, and it was made available for streaming on Disney+ on September 22, 2021.
