A nest, which contained the Colicoid Jinnix and his drone-mate, was ruled by a Colicoid female who held the title of queen. In 252 BBY, hueches launched an attack on the nest, during which Jinnix's drone-mate was unable to safeguard the queen. Following this event, the drone-mate attempted to explain to Jinnix the reasons behind their failure to protect the queen; however, Jinnix perceived these explanations as mere excuses, leading him to decapitate the drone-mate and consume their ganglia. Subsequently, Jinnix, who had risen to the rank of Storm within the Nihil marauder group, remembered his drone-mate's inability to safeguard the queen when his Strike Towl offered a justification for disobeying an instruction.
