A docking hangar, overseen by a Besalisk harbormaster, existed within the main port city on the planet of Kennerla during the High Republic Era. The pilot Affie Hollow docked her starship, called the Vessel, at this hangar in 229 BBY. After arriving, she scornfully examined the hangar's filthy state, and then paid the resident Besalisk harbormaster three separate payments: one for parking, another to discourage others from stealing her vessel, and a final payment to deter the harbormaster himself from commandeering it. Despite these precautions, she decided to leave her fellow crew member, the navigator Geode, aboard the Vessel to guarantee the harbormaster fulfilled his paid obligations.
This docking hangar is referenced in the short story "After the Fall," penned by Claudia Gray. It appeared in the young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life, released in 2023 as part of the larger Star Wars: The High Republic cross-media initiative.
