Unidentified foreman droid

A L-1g general purpose droid was employed by the Scrapper Guild as a foreman at the Shipbreaking Yard situated on the planet Bracca. This droid approached Cal Kestis and Prauf, who were guild Riggers, in 14 BBY. The reason was an anomaly detected on Line Ten-A of a Venator-class Star Destroyer undergoing dismantling. The foreman proposed double wages for the shift, which led to the two Riggers agreeing and successfully resolving the issue.

Biography

During the early reign of the Galactic Empire, a L-1g general purpose droid fulfilled the role of a foreman droid for the Scrapper Guild at the Shipbreaking Yard located on the planet Bracca. In 14 BBY, the droid became aware of a malfunction causing jammed hauler clamps on Line Ten-A of a Venator-class Star Destroyer being dismantled in the yard. The foreman sought out Prauf, a guild Rigger, while Prauf was on a platform within the engine of the Star Destroyer. Prauf then called to his fellow scrapper Cal Kestis, who was working close by. The droid informed its two subordinates that two workers were required to ascend and secure the line's cables.

Upon Kestis questioning the difficulty of the task, the foreman offered double pay for the shift to both of them. Encouraged by Prauf, Kestis then accepted the task. After ordering the pair to begin their work, the droid then boarded a repulsorlift barge and departed from the engine. Kestis and Prauf successfully released the hauler clamps at Line Ten-A, but after the shift, Prauf was killed by Imperial Inquisitors, an event that caused Kestis to flee offworld.
