His birth occurred in 21 ABY, and he later became a harvester of purple Surabat grain, functioning under the guidance of Jac Lodain, the leader of their farmhand team, alongside his fellow workers Shari and an unidentified Sullustan.
In 34 ABY, the agricultural workers experienced a surprise when Julen Rakab, a former member of their team, brought Izal Garsea, a smuggler, to Saka's farm. The Gungan expressed curiosity regarding the nature of the visitor's profession and voiced admiration for her ownership of the Meridian, her personal light freighter starship. During their conversation, Garsea observed that his manner of speech was similar to the other farmers. The Gungan and Shari requested the smuggler to remain and work on the farm, but she refused. Following a shared meal, Garsea amused the farmers with a story about her ship's fuel depletion and subsequent rescue by the Frinn Mak Traveling Circus.
