Shari was a farmer working at Kat Saka's farm on the planet of Batuu; she was a human female. Her grandparents had initially relocated to Batuu to find refuge when the Clone Wars reached their end. Some months following the Hosnian Cataclysm which occurred in 34 ABY, Shari was harvesting purple Surabat grain at the farm under the supervision of Jac Lodain, who led her group of farmhands. When the smuggler Izal Garsea made a visit to Batuu, Shari implored her to prolong her stay.

Born in 21 ABY, Shari, a human female, resided on the planet Batuu located in the Outer Rim. Her grandparents had initially moved to that location to seek shelter following the end of the Clone Wars. A few months after the Hosnian Cataclysm in 34 ABY, Shari was employed as a harvester of purple Surabat grain at Kat Saka's farm on Batuu. She labored under the guidance of Jac Lodain, the leader of her farmhand group, along with a Sullustan and a Gungan. When [Julen Rakab](/article/julen_rakab], a previous colleague of the group, brought the smuggler Izal Garsea to the farm, Shari gave Rakab a warm welcome, inviting him to partake in the workers' surplus of topato stew, which he accepted.
The farmhand group was both fascinated by Garsea's unemployment and impressed by her ownership of her own starship, the light freighter known as the Meridian. Both Shari and the Gungan urged Garsea to remain at the farm, although Lodain dismissively rejected the proposition. Shari's face flushed with anger at Lodain's disparagement of her grandparents' original relocation to Batuu. Garsea diffused the conflict, assuring Shari of her gratitude for her intentions. Shari's spirits then lifted, and the group ate together. Following their meal, Garsea entertained the workers by recounting a story of how her ship had depleted its fuel supply and was rescued by the Frinn Mak Traveling Circus.
Shari was a kind and compassionate individual who shared a positive relationship with Julen Rakab. Izal Garsea, the smuggler, perceived Shari as possessing a sense of innocence and optimism in her demeanor, in contrast to her own. Shari became enraged when Jac Lodain minimized her grandparents' initial migration to Batuu, but Garsea successfully resolved the dispute and restored harmony among all parties.
Shari had a round face featuring a small scar on one of her cheeks. Her skin tone was slightly darker than Garsea's golden complexion. While employed at Kat Saka's farm, Shari styled her hair in two braids.
Shari made an appearance in A Crash of Fate, a young-adult novel from 2019 authored by Zoraida Córdova.
