Unidentified Jedi seeker

A person served as a Jedi seeker within the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. Around 382 BBY, this individual journeyed to see the Force-sensitive siblings, Elecia and Oliviah Zeveron, with the intention of enlisting them into the Order. Following a demonstration of Force abilities by the two sisters to the Seeker, he departed with only Oliviah, leaving Elecia behind due to her weaker connection to the Force.

During the Battle of Jedha in that same year, the paths of the two siblings crossed, resulting in Oliviah uncovering memories of her life before becoming a Jedi Knight, including their display of Force abilities for the Seeker. Shortly thereafter, they met again on the world of Dalna, where Oliviah exposed Elecia's latent Force-sensitivity and her rejection by the Seeker to members of the Path of the Open Hand religious group.

Biography

Long before 382 BBY, an individual with Force abilities functioned as a Jedi seeker—a Jedi whose mission was to locate Force-sensitive youths throughout the galaxy—within the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. On one occasion, he paid a visit to the sisters, Elecia and Oliviah Zeveron, with the aim of bringing them into the Order for training as Jedi. As he observed, the two girls demonstrated their abilities with the Force, showcasing various tricks—Oliviah could manipulate building blocks to float simply by concentrating, and Elecia possessed the ability to influence others through her presence. Ultimately, the Seeker chose to bring only Oliviah with him, dismissing her older sister due to her weaker connection to the Force. This rejection instilled a lasting bitterness in Elecia, who believed she should have been chosen instead.

Around 382 BBY, Elecia had ascended to the position of leader within a religious order known as the Path of the Open Hand, which opposed the Jedi Order based on the Path's conviction that the Force should remain untouched. Unbeknownst to its members, Elecia harbored a past connection to the Force. Meanwhile, Oliviah had become a Jedi Knight within the Order. Although her memories of life before the Jedi were fragmented, she recalled playing with her sister when the Seeker arrived at their doorstep. In that year, the Path orchestrated the Battle of Jedha on the sacred moon of Jedha, and during the conflict, the two sisters encountered each other in the Holy City. This encounter triggered a Force-induced revelation for Oliviah, unearthing forgotten memories, including her and Elecia demonstrating their abilities for the Seeker.

Later that year, the sisters crossed paths again, this instance occurring during the Night of Sorrow on the planet of Dalna. During this meeting, Oliviah revealed the truth about Elecia to her fellow Path members, Werth Plouth and Marda Ro—as well as the Jedi Padawan Matthea Cathley—namely, that she possessed Force-sensitivity and that they were siblings. Initially, Elecia disputed their familial connection, but she relented upon hearing Oliviah utter their family name. The Jedi Knight then shared with everyone present the story of her selection by the Seeker and Elecia's subsequent rejection. Following this revelation, Plouth and Ro began to understand that Elecia's resentment towards the Jedi stemmed from her perceived inadequacy and their lack of recognition.
