A family of humans possessed great strength in the Force. In the High Republic Era, it was discovered that two sisters within this family, named Elecia and Oliviah, were Force-sensitive. Consequently, a Jedi seeker arrived to assess their abilities. While Oliviah demonstrated sufficient aptitude and was subsequently taken by the Jedi for training, Elecia did not, leading to resentment. Later, Elecia asserted that upon reaching adulthood, she sought out her younger sister but was denied access to Oliviah. During her time as a Jedi, Oliviah retained fragmented memories of her life before joining the Jedi Order, primarily images of faces she believed to be her parents, along with recollections of playing with her sister when the Seeker arrived.
In time, Elecia ascended to the position of leader within the organization known as the Path of the Open Hand. Harboring deep-seated resentment stemming from the Jedi's rejection of her as a child, she embarked on a mission to eradicate those who, according to Elecia and the Path, manipulated the Force and disrupted its balance. Simultaneously, Oliviah advanced to the rank of Jedi Knight. During the Battle of Jedha, Oliviah encountered Elecia, and the Force communicated with her, revealing previously suppressed memories of the sisters showcasing their powers to the Seeker.
The sisters were brought back together during the Battle of Dalna.
