A member of the Kubaz species functioned in the role of a secret agent working on behalf of the Empire Galactica at some point in the time of the Galactic War Civil. This particular Kubaz was stationed on the planet Sarka and received notification from Lord Rooz that Sarka would persist in its trade of gemstones with the Imperial forces. Subsequently, the informant relayed to the incarcerated Luke Skywalker the intelligence that Darth Vader was imminent in his arrival and that he, the Kubaz, would communicate to Vader the information regarding Skywalker's presence on Sarka. Ultimately, the Kubaz was confined within the prison cell, where he engaged in a period of rest prior to Rooz's own imprisonment in the same location.
