A pit fighter participated in combat at the Garkata Fighting Arena located on Nar Shaddaa, the Moon of the Smugglers. In 3 ABY, the Besalisk Doc Ragon sponsored this fighter in a contest against the pit combatant Wyrmen Lictor. The fight concluded with Lictor killing Ragon's fighter, causing Ragon to lose a significant amount of credits. Enraged by the fighter's demise, the Besalisk sought vengeance by wanting Lictor dead. Later that year, Ragon referenced the pit fighter's loss to Lictor during a conversation with the bounty hunter Boba Fett, suggesting it as a way for Fett to offset the expenses of a task Ragon was undertaking for him.
This pit fighter was originally conceived for War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha 1, a single-issue comic that initiated the Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover story. Charles Soule penned the issue, which Marvel Comics released on May 5, 2021. Before the comic's debut, StarWars.com featured the pit fighter in a preview article about the issue on April 28 of that same year.
