A little-known world served as the refuge for "the Stranger," a one-time Jedi who became a Sith. In the year 132 BBY, the Stranger transported Verosha Aniseya to this world following the events of the Mission to Khofar that occurred during the High Republic Era. This world, characterized by significant tidal activity and isolation, provided an ideal sanctuary for dark side training. From the vantage point of a cave, Darth Plagueis observed the Stranger and Aniseya as they left the island and departed the planet aboard the Exile II.
This world made its debut in the live-action Disney+ show The Acolyte in the "Lost / Found" episode, which aired on June 4, 2024. It was initially identified in the "Teach / Corrupt" episode with the designation "Unknown Planet" displayed on the screen. The filming of scenes set on this planet took place on Madeira, a Portuguese island. Leslye Headland stated that the intention was for the planet to evoke a feeling similar to that of Ahch-To.
