The servant approached the Sith in 19 BBY while Vader was in meditation within his private room. He relayed to the Dark Lord that the Imperial Security Bureau had uncovered an occurrence in Imperial City potentially involving a Jedi, who was later identified as Jocasta Nu. The Sith Lord instructed the cloaked individual to inform the ISB of his imminent arrival.
The attendant made an appearance in Darth Vader (2017) 8. His physical characteristics bear resemblance to Vaneé, who was in Vader's service on Mustafar. However, according to a narrative presented by Lellis in Star Wars Adventures: Shadow of Vader's Castle, Vaneé's service to Vader commenced only after the construction of Fortress Vader, suggesting that the attendant featured in Dark Lord of the Sith 8 cannot be the same individual as Vaneé. When Cavan Scott was questioned about this on Twitter, he responded by stating that the unidentified Sith attendant belongs to the same semi-religious order as Vaneé, and the robes worn by the attendant are the order's attire, thereby confirming that the attendant is indeed not Vaneé.
