A mature elder of the female human species resided on the planet Tatooine following the final battle of the First Order-Resistance war in 35 ABY. Some time had passed after the conflict on Exegol when the elder, accompanied by an etobi, traversed the Great Chott salt flat within the Jundland Wastes. It was there that she encountered the Jedi Rey near the abandoned moisture farm that was once the property of the Lars family. The elder commented on the infrequency of visitors to the farm, and inquired about the stranger's identity. Rey shared her given name, prompting the elder to request her family name. Noticing the Force spirits of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa in the distant desert, Rey responded with "Skywalker." Following the introduction, the elder inquired about the possibility of a future encounter, and then left.
The Tatooine elder made her debut in the 2019 motion picture Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, which serves as the concluding chapter of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Ann Firbank played the character.
