An operative who was part of Fori Nagor's crew, the Twi'lek pirate, was in the service of Marda Ro, the Evereni originator of a pirate organization that would ultimately evolve into the Nihil. This individual became a member of Nagor's team at some time on or after 379 BBY. During a celebration held aboard the Gaze Electric, Ro's vessel, this team member prepared finger cakes adorned with pulverized palm sugar. Ro later referenced these cakes and the baker in a message intended for her future family. By 252 BBY, Marchion Ro, her great-great-grandson, had heard this journal entry as a young man.
This team member's existence is revealed in "A Closed Fist Has No Claws," a short story by Tessa Gratton. It appeared in The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life, a 2023 collection aimed at young adults, which is a component of the larger Star Wars: The High Republic initiative.
