A settlement existed on the planet Hisseen throughout the Clone Wars period. As the war began in 22 BBY, the Confederacy of Independent Systems put the planet under siege. To prevent the planet's capture by Separatist forces, the Galactic Republic deployed the 501st Legion, 212th Attack Battalion, and 104th Battalion. These units were led by Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Plo Koon. The village was assaulted by Separatist forces at some point while the siege was ongoing.
