This financial vessel was under the command of Rikard Lovas, a Banker from the Kubaz species. To facilitate trade for the locals, it would dock at Niima Outpost on the planet Jakku for a handful of days every cycle. Although it had a limited cargo capacity, the majority of transactions were processed digitally using credits.
Lovas, burdened by gambling debts owed to the Irving Boys, assembled a group of droids and plotted a staged bank robbery aboard his own ship. He reprogrammed the Niima Outpost secretary droid, specifically CZ-1G5, to erase the records of funds held within his computer core. This was intended to create the illusion of theft, while in truth, the funds were merely concealed for later transfer to a private account. Lovas intended for CZ-1G5 to be blamed, but the Office of the Constable unraveled his scheme, leading to the Kubaz's arrest for his offense.
The banking ship was originally conceived for "High Noon on Jakku," a short story from 2015 penned by Landry Q. Walker.
