Urno was a young Balawai from Haruun Kal during the time of the Clone Wars. He was the sibling of Nykl. During the Summertime War, as they were running from a conflict, Urno, along with Pell Nakay, Terrel Nakay, Keela Nakay, and Nykl, experienced an incident when their steamcrawler became trapped in flowing lava, but they were rescued by Jedi Master Mace Windu. Urno's father and a company of Balawai searched for them, but upon finding the children and Master Windu, they were ambushed by Kar Vastor alongside his Akk Guards and akk dogs. Urno, his sibling, and their father lived through the skirmish, but not before Urno and the other children saw Vastor's savage killing of Terrel. Windu transported them and other Balawai captives to a steamcrawler route, where a Balawai gunship identified and freed the prisoners. As he glanced at the children for the last time, Mace could only wish that Urno and the rest would eventually be able to view a Jedi without feeling animosity.
