Vader - Dark Visions #3 represents the third installment of the canon comic book mini-series, Star Wars: Vader - Dark Visions. Dennis "Hopeless" Hallum served as the writer, while David López and Javier Pina provided the illustrations. Marvel Comics released it on April 24, 2019.

A Lambda-class T-4a shuttle touches down inside the Death Star battle station. Officers and troopers assemble, anticipating the arrival of Darth Vader from the shuttle. As the Dark Lord of the Sith proceeds along the line of Imperials, a nurse steals a glance, eager to see Lord Vader.
The doctor, her supervisor, swiftly pulls the nurse away from the corridor and directs her back to the supply closet, her intended destination. Muttering to herself, the nurse begins gathering the necessary supplies for an upcoming medical procedure. She is distracted when she spots Lord Vader walking down the hall, causing her to accidentally collide the supply cart with the doorframe. The nurse tumbles, hitting the wall, but the Sith Lord continues without noticing.
The nurse escapes into fantasies of a life shared with Lord Vader, her obsession intensifying with each passing moment. She convinces herself that she understands him better than the doctor, better than anyone. She snaps back to reality and rushes to the procedure room. Upon entering, she begins to mention the low stock of capacitors before realizing that Lord Vader is already present. The Doctor quickly replaces the Sith Lord's helmet while yelling at the nurse to leave. Vader responds by using the Force to hurl the doctor across the room, which the nurse misinterprets as Lord Vader protecting her from the doctor, despite her own mistake.
Following the procedure, the doctor apologizes for the delay as Vader dons his cape. He then instructs the nurse to clean the room while he is away. She follows his instructions, but secretly keeps a small item, adding it to her growing collection of artifacts from procedures involving Lord Vader, including a vial of his blood.
Later, Lord Vader returns to the hangar as his personal TIE fighter is prepared. Ignoring the officer sent to inquire about his well-being, he heads towards the doctor's office. There, he encounters the nurse and asks her to fetch the doctor. The nurse arranges a few items in the procedure room before the doctor enters, apologizing for the nurse's failure to notify him earlier. The doctor quickly dismisses the nurse, and she once again daydreams about the Dark Lord requiring her assistance.
Lord Vader abruptly leaves the procedure room, against the doctor's wishes, stating that he is needed on the battlefield. The doctor instructs the nurse to thoroughly clean the procedure room, which she begins to do before noticing that Lord Vader has left his cape behind. The nurse views this as a token of his affection and seizes the cape. She wanders around the room, fantasizing about dancing with the Sith Lord, but is soon interrupted by the doctor.
The doctor discovers her with the cape and confiscates it, warning that stealing from Lord Vader is a death wish. He then spots the nurse's box of Lord Vader's belongings and grabs it along with the cape. He discards the collection into a garbage chute, cautioning her about the consequences if Lord Vader were to find out. The nurse frantically rushes to the trash compactor and desperately searches through the foul-smelling waste, failing to recover her treasures. She then daydreams about using force choke on the doctor in anger.
Now resolute, the nurse approaches Vader's meditation chamber and enters without hesitation. Inside, the life support pod is open, and she sees Lord Vader without his helmet. The nurse begins to declare her love and devotion to the Sith Lord, repeatedly emphasizing her deep understanding of him. Unexpectedly, Vader's lightsaber impales her. Vader replaces his helmet and contacts the bridge, ordering the removal of the body from the chamber, dismissing it as garbage.
