Vall Kumauri's flagship

Vall Kumauri, a warlord, utilized a starship as his flagship, belonging to Vall Kumauri. Around 10,000 BBY, Kumauri's conquests triggered a conflict between his empire and the Galactic Republic; during this time, the flagship played a role in a battle between the two opposing sides. A fresco located in a Kumauri Empire palace on an Outer Rim Territories moon eventually portrayed both the battle and Kumauri's flagship.

History

A starship served as the flagship of Vall Kumauri, a warlord who existed during the Ductavis Era, a time period that spanned from approximately 11,000 BBY to 9000 BBY. After assembling a small fleet of newly designed and created battleships, Kumauri conquered several dozen star systems circa 10,000 BBY, leading to the formation of the Kumauri Empire. The Galactic Republic later became involved in a short conflict with Kumauri's empire, and his flagship participated in a battle that occurred between the two factions. Sometime later, a fresco in a Kumauri Empire palace situated on an Outer Rim Territories moon depicted both the battle and the starship. The Republic ultimately defeated Kumauri's empire, which then collapsed within a few years of its inception.

By 3643 BBY, the civilization Kumauri had established was almost entirely forgotten. It was then that the palace on the Outer Rim moon was discovered. An individual who was associated with either side of the ongoing struggle between the Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire eventually dispatched a companion to investigate the structure, and this companion subsequently found the fresco illustrating Kumauri's flagship.

Behind the scenes

The 2011 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was created by BioWare, mentioned Vall Kumauri's flagship in an Archaeology Crew Skill mission. However, the information pertaining to the mission's outcome was subsequently removed from the game.
