Vaqqi

Vaqqi, a towering Jedi Master of the Jedi Order from the Zabrak species, existed in the time of the High Republic Era. In the year 382 BBY, Vaqqi was one of five Jedi who went with Kyong Greylark, the previous Supreme Chancellor, aboard a Beta-class shuttle. Their destination was the Path compound situated on the planet Dalna, following a request from her son, Axel. As they exited the shuttle, the Zabrak proposed that the Jedi remain with Kyong; however, she instructed him and the other four Jedi to join the other Jedi on Dalna as they battled against the Path of the Open Hand. While the battle unfolded, Vaqqi communicated to Jedi Master Creighton Sun that he had learned the communications buoy within the Dalnan system was no longer controlled by the Path. He also stated that distress signals were being transmitted, requesting reinforcements to aid them on Dalna.
