A visual depiction of Vildar confronting Tey, who is seen standing beside the deceased body of V'Kara.
Vitali is defined as one of the many Force power abilities. In the year 382 BBY, Tey Sirrek, a member of the Sephi people, was in the process of investigating the murder that took place upon V'Kara, a Sarravi, inside the Shrine of Sarrav. Vildar Mac, a Jedi Knight, had been pursuing Tey after witnessing the Sephi stealing from a Truthsayer belonging to the Bpfasshi. Vildar then observed Tey standing near V'Kara's lifeless body, leading him to the conclusion that Tey was responsible for her demise. The Kiffar Jedi then engaged Tey in combat, wielding his lightsaber as a weapon, but Tey was successful in evading the attacks. When Vildar questioned Tey about his ability to do so, Tey responded by asserting that he had mastered a multitude of Force powers, including Vitali, in addition to the Cry of the Broken King and Morichro. Vildar disregarded this statement, dismissing Morichro as nothing more than a fabricated myth. Tey then deployed biological pheromones, a defense mechanism developed by his ancestors against predators, to incapacitate the Jedi temporarily, while simultaneously claiming to be utilizing the ancient rite known as Morichro on Vildar.
Vitali received a mention within the first issue of the The High Republic (2022) comic run, which was published by Marvel Comics as a component of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic project. This particular comic issue was made available to the public on October 12, 2022, and it was authored by Cavan Scott with illustrations provided by Ario Anindito.
