During the year 4 ABY, Squadron Four of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing executed a task that took them to Vnex, and they did so without suffering any casualties to Imperial forces. After they went back to the planet Pandem Nai, the place where the 204th had established a base after the Battle of Endor, Squadron Four gave Colonel Shakara Nuress a summary of what happened during their assignment.
The location of Vnex appeared within the pages of Alphabet Squadron, a book that was penned by Alexander Freed and then released to the public in 2019.
