The light freighter named Vondel, a G9 Rigger-class, belonged to Alfris Sotin, who was a smuggler and also an enslaver. Zorii Bliss and Poe Dameron, members of the Spice Runners of Kijimi, managed to take control of the Vondel freighter after Sotin's betrayal during a skirmish; their group of Spice Runners then utilized the stolen ship.
