The genetic blueprint utilized for the creation of all voxyn, those Jedi-slaying beasts engineered by the Yuuzhan Vong, was known as the voxyn queen. Around 27 ABY, the Yuuzhan Vong Shapers combined the characteristics and powers of a fero xyn, an indigenous species from the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy, with those of a vornskr, a species native to the planet Myrkr located in the galaxy, to form the template. Her sole training was survival at all costs. The Jedi ultimately learned that all voxyn originated from a single clone source, prompting them to dispatch a strike team with the mission of eliminating the voxyn queen. During the attack on the cloning facility aboard the Baanu Rass, a Yuuzhan Vong worldship, the other voxyn and Yuuzhan Vong warriors present fiercely defended her, resulting in the deaths of several Jedi. Ultimately, the Jedi confronted the queen, and she was defeated and killed by Jacen Solo when he forced her into a dovin basal's black hole singularity.
