Wick 111, often shortened to just Wick, existed as a planet within both the Outer Rim Territories and [the Slice](/article/the_slice] regions. Its location was pinpointed as grid square S-16 on the Standard Galactic Grid. The Wickwar species called Wick 111 their homeworld. A male Wazellman named Wazellman, born circa 35 BBY, was one such individual. By 34 ABY, when the First Order occupied Batuu, the pirate Hondo Ohnaka possessed a stolen identity profile of Wazellman, which mentioned his planet of origin. Later, the historian Eloc Throno also made note of Wick 111 on a galactic map featured in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu.
The planet Wick 111 was first presented to the public through the Star Wars: Datapad application. This app was released in conjunction with the opening of the themed area Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios during 2019. A shorter version of the planet's name was then used in the reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu by Cole Horton, published in 2020.
