Wilderness fighters constituted a specialized branch of the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Special Forces. Jav Mefran, holding the rank of Corporal, served as a wilderness fighter in the 4th SpecForce Regiment. The Endor strike team that participated in the Battle of Endor included a minimum of two wilderness fighter operatives.
