Wisp functioned as a TIE fighter pilot in the Galactic Empire, achieving the status of captain and leading as a squadron commander for Squadron Three inside the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. During the New Republic's attack targeting Pandem Nai, she suffered the loss of nearly her entire squadron. She fought with the 204th during the attack of Cerberon, and subsequently, at the battle of Jakku, she stepped up to become the senior squadron commander following the death of Captain Samran Phesh.
