Yakorki, a planet found in the Outer Rim Territories, was positioned along a hyperspace route connecting Mokivj and Umme. The planet was abundant in various types of edible fungi, which led to the annual Fungi Fest. This event drew thousands of visitors to Yakorki each cycle. Due to its limited exports, those wanting to enjoy Yakorki's delicacies had to travel there. One example was a mushroom sauce that accompanied Ithorian Garden Loaf, a dish served on the nearby world of Batuu.
In 19 BBY, the Separatist Alliance freighter named Larkrer, which was heading to Mokivj, included Yakorki in its recorded data, along with other locations between Batuu and Cermau. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Chiss Ascendancy Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo investigated the freighter's datafiles and dismissed Yakorki, correctly identifying the freighter's real destination. Skywalker thought the location descriptions were similar to a travel brochure. Eloc Throno, an author and historian, mentioned Yakorki in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu as a place reachable with a short flight from Batuu.
The planet Yakorki was initially referenced in Thrawn: Alliances, a novel by Timothy Zahn published in 2018. The 2020 reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, authored by Cole Horton, incorrectly spelled the planet's name as "Yakork" in all places except on the map where it was pictured.
