Yana-Ton, a Voss woman from Voss, lived through the Cold War. Her brother was Phi-Ton, and she was the daughter of Bas-Ton. She made her home in the Judicial Quarter of Voss-Ka, specifically within her father's teahouse. Sometime before 3640 BBY, Imperial Intelligence agents from the Sith Empire murdered Bas-Ton and replaced him with an impostor. His children, including Yana-Ton, and his brother Therod-Ton, remained unaware of the switch. Around 3640 BBY, Cipher Nine, an Imperial Agent, frequented the teahouse, feigning friendship with Yana-Ton and her family. Cipher's true motive was to gain the impostor Bas-Ton's help in locating the Shining Man. Cipher's former adversaries eventually killed the Bas-Ton impostor, and Yana-Ton mourned, completely ignorant of the truth about her father's demise.
