The Zanbar Death Watch camp was established on the moon of Zanbar by the Mandalorian offshoot known as Death Watch. This occurred after they left the planet Carlac and chose Zanbar as their temporary headquarters.
Pre Vizsla and Bo-Katan Kryze came across the unconscious Sith Lord Maul and his Sith sibling Savage Opress inside their escape pod. They brought them back to their camp, which led to an alliance and the formation of the Shadow Collective. Subsequently, the Pyke Syndicate journeyed to the camp with a request to become members of their criminal organization, which Vizsla and Maul agreed to. During the battle of Zanbar in 19 BBY, the camp suffered destruction at the hands of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
