Zemerin

Zemerin, a species known for their telepathic abilities, sustained themselves by consuming negative emotions. A Zemerin contingent journeyed to the world of Enujut, where they instigated conflicts amongst the inhabitants to nourish themselves. However, their scheme was disrupted by Evor Haris, a local guardian of peace, along with a protocol droid who uncovered the motive behind their arrival.

Biology and appearance

The Zemerin possessed a slender physique, characterized by brownish-gray skin and a lack of visible hair. A defining feature was their limited number of limbs: a solitary arm extending from beneath the neck, terminating in three elongated fingers, and a single leg that necessitated a hopping form of locomotion. Their head, situated on a long, slender neck, exhibited an inverted triangular shape. It included a beak-like mouth and a pair of vertically oriented green eyes. They demonstrated telepathic powers, which they employed to feed on negative energies.

Society and culture

The Zemerin were recognized for their proficiency in technical matters, demonstrating the capacity to repair diverse technologies ranging from starships to food replicators. Given their reliance on negative energy for sustenance, certain Zemerin intentionally incited disagreements among other beings to exploit the resulting emotional fallout.

Zemerin in the galaxy

Three of the Zemerin who came to Enujut

On one occasion, a Zemerin group ventured to the world called Enujut. While there, they began to orchestrate minor disputes among various residents, including a Lepi smuggler and an Ugnaught trader, a Duros engineer and her Aleena aide, and a pair of Ewoks. Ultimately, they succeeded in instigating a disturbance within the local cantina. A perceptive protocol droid eventually pieced together the truth and alerted Evor Haris, the local peace officer, to the situation. Working together, Haris and the droid deceived the Zemerin, leading them to board their spacecraft and depart from Enujut.
