The Zizimaak represented a species of sentient insectoid avians that originally hailed from the world called Kathol. These beings were engineered by the DarkStryder for the purpose of functioning as scouts. This race managed to break free and establish their own independent civilization. The Zizimaak held deep animosity toward their creator, the DarkStryder, and cultivated a positive relationship with the Charr Ontee and the Yapi, even though they consumed them and the Segmi as food. Differing from other genetically engineered servants present on Kathol or serving the DarkStryder, the Zizimaak lacked any link to the spiritual Ta-Ree life force found on Kathol, their planet of origin. They provided assistance to the FarStar team and participated in the struggle against Imperial Moff Kentor Sarne.
