The 2nd Airborne Company represented an air-mobile infantry company belonging to the 212th Attack Battalion of the 7th Sky Corps. This company, comprised of clone paratroopers, fought in the Clone Wars, notably engaging in the Battle of Utapau. Within the Grand Army of the Republic, the 2nd Airborne served as a fast-response drop unit, and similar to all clone troopers, they underwent specialized training, further steeled by combat experiences against the armies of General Grievous of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
