3-6, a member of DT-F16's squad of death troopers, had the duty of guarding a sizable kyber crystal being moved via freighter. The destination was the Tonnis sector from the Jedha system, where they were scheduled to meet Captain Slavin and his Imperial I-class Star Destroyer. However, the freighter was infiltrated by rebels: Saw Gerrera, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Chopper. These rebels not only sabotaged the kyber crystal, but they also freed numerous prisoners. Following their escape, the kyber crystal detonated, resulting in the destruction of both the freighter and the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer. This explosion led to the death of Slavin, 3-6, and the remaining members of the squad.
