6D6-RA-8

During the Galactic Empire's reign, an RA-7 protocol droid with the designation 6D6-RA-8 existed. Around 8 BBY to 2 BBY, 6D6-RA-8 was located on Coruscant, the Imperial capital, when Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Phaedra journeyed there to execute a heist. Their mission was to recover an urn stolen from the Millennium Falcon. The Empire had impounded the ship and given the urn to Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, who subsequently stored it in his office.

Phaedra, seeking a way to lure Tarkin away from his office, noticed 6D6-RA-8 and devised a plan to enter the droid and impersonate it. She proceeded to Tarkin's office and encountered death troopers, who acted as Tarkin's guard. Phaedra informed them that she carried an urgent message for Tarkin from Emperor Palpatine. The grand moff arrived and voiced his suspicion, noting that Palpatine did not typically use droids for communication. Phaedra insisted that a droid was chosen due to the sensitive nature of the message, and when Tarkin inquired about the matter, she requested a private conversation. The grand moff stated that the troopers were trustworthy. Phaedra continued to insist on privacy, prompting Tarkin to declare that his time was valuable and demanded she speak quickly or leave. In response, Phaedra leaned in and whispered to Tarkin about the Emperor's alleged request for his presence in his chambers, believing that Mas Amedda was plotting to kill him.

Tarkin expressed doubt regarding the claim, and Phaedra countered that the moff should understand why the Emperor would send the request via a droid, given the information's sensitivity. Tarkin conceded and departed with several troopers to speak with Palpatine. With Tarkin gone, Phaedra informed one of the remaining troopers that she needed to use the restroom, despite droids not requiring such facilities. She further added that she had two associates, Solo and Chewbacca, who would be entering the office through one. At that moment, Solo and Chewbacca arrived and eliminated the troopers. Solo then aimed his blaster at Phaedra, unaware of her disguise, but she cautioned him not to shoot and instructed him to remove the droid's head, revealing her identity.
