The Abregado debris field orbited Anza, the star of the Abregado system. It was formed from the wreckage of a Republic fleet that was destroyed by the Separatist Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Malevolence in the Abregado system during the Battle of Abregado, an early battle of the Clone Wars.
