Ar'alani's aunt

A female Chiss individual, belonging to the Irizi family – one of the ruling houses of the Chiss Ascendancy – was the aunt of Admiral Ar'alani from the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. This woman, while Irizi'ar'alani (whose core name during her youth was "Ziara") was developing, found pleasure in needlework and sewing. In 19 BBY, Commodore Ar'alani and Senior Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo, known as "Thrawn," received an invitation to visit Solitair, the capital planet of the Garwian Unity. Following an observation of the intricate artistry produced by the Garwian people, Ar'alani commented on her aunt's enjoyment of sewing, though she noted that her aunt's creations were less complex than those of the Garwians.
