Dornea

Dornea, a celestial body classified as a planet, served as the original homeworld for the Dornean species. This intelligent species engineered the Braha'tok-class gunship, which were then produced by the Dornean Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate with the intention of shielding Dornea from the threat of the Galactic Empire. During the early rebellion against the Empire, some of these gunships were utilized by the Rebel Alliance. Following the Alliance's significant triumph in the Battle of Yavin, Dornea aligned itself with the Alliance, contributing additional Braha'tok-class gunships to their forces.

Following the Empire's downfall, the gunships continued their role in safeguarding the Dornean homeworld. In the year 34 ABY, during an excavation on Durkteel, the historical document known as The Rebel Files was discovered and eventually found its way to the Resistance, a private military group with its origins in the Rebel Alliance. Admiral Ushos O. Statura posed a question in a note within a section dedicated to the Braha'tok-class gunship, inquiring about their continued usage. Admiral Gial Ackbar responded with a note confirming that Dornea was still operating these vessels.
